Heres the problem I'm having. I have a lot of files that I want to read with the braille display of my braille sense. However, when I load a .txt or .doc file with my flash drive, it comes out with jumbled punctuation. /For instance, colons end up being hugely long jumbles of characters that make absolutely no sense, including a few number in nemeth code braille. Is there anyone who has had this problem, or do you know of anything that might be causing or, or better yet, know how to fix it? Thanks.
I've had that problem, and I'm wondering if it has to do with the file types of the Braille Sense and the file type of the document you're opening not matching, although I would think the Braille Sense should automatically switch to whatever file type you're opening. All I can think is to try changing the format while in that file to a different one (I believe it's g-chord or enter-g to do that). Use that other format to work in your file, and see if it still shows symbolic characters as strings. If you have the format in Grade 2 Braille, I think it should work where it will show symbolic characters normally; I haven't had that problem when working in Grade 2 format..
